Free User Education Offerings
As part of Thomson's ongoing commitment
to training we are extending to our clients our new free User Education offerings.
These free one hour sessions are designed for clients to review product related
topics to increase business and PORTIA acumen. All sessions will be offered via
Live Meeting making it easy for users to login from their desks to learn a new
topic or to get a refresher on existing issues.
Below is a sample listing
of the classes that we are offering. Contact your Relationship Manager to schedule
a time or to request additional topics!
User Education Offerings:
Report Writer Tips and Tricks: This offering will provide tips that
will help our clients use PORTIA Report Writer more efficiently and effectively.
This will include tips on filtering, sending reports to files, usage of layouts/fonts
and an explanation of the Include, Use and Mode filters.
User Clearance
Rules: Hints and suggestions on setting up and maintaining user clearances
in PORTIA
v8.1 Workspace: Recommendations and tips for setting up
different workspace views.
Stored Holdings: A high-level review
of the Stored Holdings module and the reporting benefits obtained. This includes
Current & As Of reporting and the Current Stored Holdings Modes for reporting.
Corporate Actions: Previewing, exporting, posting and cancelling
Corporate Actions in the new module.
PORTIA E-Reports: Standard
report offerings demonstrating the functionality of the product.
Cash
Management: New reporting and STIV features of the module.
